My Story

Im a 30 year old British Expatriate currently living in Dubai.

I have been traveling since i was 3 years old and spent time in many different countries throughout my life due to my parents need to explore and see new places. Constantly changing homes and surroundings was tiring but because i was never in one place for very long i was inspired to start photographing to capture the places and people i met along my journey.

This passion and hobby developed over time helping me to make the decision to study graphic design in university. My photography skills and knowledge improved over this time and i knew that it was what i wanted to peruse for my career.

When starting my career in photography i spent most of the year working in Dubai shooting major events and nightlife in the city alongside working as a private freelance photographer for festivals around Europe in the summer. I did this for 2 years before packing up and leaving to Morocco in 2015 to set up my very own surf camp.

In Morocco i mostly photographed lifestyle and surf photography that i could use to promote the area and help my business grow using my imagery. I continued to  freelance on the side but spent most of my time focusing on the surf camp i had created.

In June 2017 i moved to Sri Lanka to help manage a new high-end surf resort in the East coast named 'The Spice Trail.' I worked here as the manager for a season and fell in love with the island. When my contract finished i decided to stay and start working as a freelance photographer full time again.

I have now been on the island for 3 years and in this time have developed my brand "soulsnapss" and even created the first ever surf magazine in Sri Lanka called 'Surf Sri Lanka Magazine.' This has been a great success for me and has helped provide even more exposure for my photography services on the island.

I now focus mostly on surf and lifestyle photography around the island and work with related local/international brands in the industry.

Due to Covid-19 I choose to move back to Dubai in search of more work. Since then I have been shooting with various wellness centers, cafe's, restaurants and working with individuals creating unique portraits.
